| Producer information | Babylonstoren dates back to 1692 and is one of the oldest Cape Dutch farms. The 580-hectare farm has 88 hectares under vine, producing 13 different grape varieties. The wines, which are made as naturally as possible, are a representation of their soils and climate and are produced in a state-of-the-art winery. The 2011 vintage was the first to be bottled under the Babylonstoren label. The Babylonstoren logo is a true reflection of the wines, consisting of the pipe (representing the farmer), the flower (representing the garden) and the bird (representing nature). |
