Tasting notes:
'Our Chenin Blanc was made from 84% Bot River fruit and 16% from the Overberg making the wine of Origin for the vintage Cape South Coast. This is the first time that we had to source from outside the Bot River ward. Yields were very low due to the drought. This vintage is a beautiful expression of the grape capturing the full flavour and potential that our terroir has to offer. It is a delicious example of cooler climate Chenin Blanc fermented in concrete and stainless steel tanks. Dry, fresh and delicious!' – Winemaker

About Beaumont:
Beaumont, located in Botriver, is a family-run farm. It was founded by Raoul and Jayne Beaumont in 1974, and is now run by their son Sebastian Beaumont. The farm dates back to the 1700’s when it was owned by the Dutch East India Company and is now home to the region’s oldest wine cellar. The vineyards sit on ancient clay-rich soil and are said to be some of the finest in the area. Beaumont, always doing something interesting and different, were the first to introduce Mourvèdre as a single bottled variety in South Africa.
