Tasting notes:
‘There is an attractive flinty and smoky, reductive note, very Puligny-like, with a lean and lemony entry, plus light spice and a delicious, juicy, clean and focused palate. It’s a super-smart wine. In a word – delineated.' – James Pietersen (Feb 2020)

'Light nose and lots of vivacious, dancing fruit. Olivier seems to have the recipe … and it's fair value. Drink: 2020 – 2024.' – Jancis Robinson, JancisRobinson.com, 16/20

'Pale colour with a light green tint. 70 plots mostly below Meursault and Puligny but some from the Côte Chalonnaise and the Hautes Côtes de Beaune. 85% in wood, 12% new barrel. This wine accounts for one third of their white production! 12.9% alcohol. A light but gracefully perfumed nose, delicious fruit across the palate, with some fresh yellow fruit, a nice little touch of oak, delicious and with good length.' – Jasper Morris MW, Inside Burgundy

About Maison Olivier Leflaive:
One of Burgundy’s most impressive names, Olivier Leflaive is recognised as much for the consistent quality and style of its wines as for the sheer breadth of its range. ‘Today, he is one of Burgundy’s top white wine producers and the maison wines match the domaine wines for their sheer quality, class and longevity!’ – Roland

The Leflaive family have been Burgundy producers for many decades but, in 1984, Olivier Leflaive set up his merchant house producing wines under his own label from his own vineyards in Puligny-Montrachet. To establish his estate, he purchased 12 hectares of land in prestigious appellations including village Meursault to the Grands Crus of Montrachet and Criots-Bâtard-Montrachet. Today, Olivier Leflaive controls all the winemaking and the ageing of the wines. Each vintage benefits from an individual approach and guarantees the authenticity of each appellation.
