The Campania Remensis, Latin for the countryside around Reims a.k.a. Champagne, is a rosé that
hails from a 0.71-hectare lieu-dit, Les Montées, in the village of Ormes. It is a blend of 60% Pinot
Noir, 30% Chardonnay, 5% Meunier and 5% de Coteaux, Champenois Rouge Pinot Noir. It spent
36 months on the lees and was aged under natural cork. This extra-brut rosé was disgorged in
March 2020. 5,200 bottles produced.

Bérêche & Fils was founded in 1847. Building on a strong foundation of traditional Champagne-making learned from their father, brothers Vincent and Raphaël Bérêche, took over in 2004. Today, the estate has 9.5 hectares spread over 21 parcels in Ludes, Ormes, Trépail; their first grand cru site in Mailly on the Montagne de Reims and Mareuil-le-Port in the Vallee de la Marne.
Second fermentation and aging en tirage occurs under cork with an agrafe. The bottles are then hand-disgorged with no to low dosage to maintain the integrity and characteristics of each cuvée.
