About Fruitière Vinicole d'Arbois:
You don’t get much more authentic than the wines of Fruitière Vinicole d'Arbois – one of the first and oldest co-operatives wineries ever established in France. After the near decimation of the vines from phylloxera, the wine growers wanted to provide a solution by producing high-quality wines of Jura. It assisted the region in attaining AOC status in 1936 and had a hand in the development of modern Jura. The co-operative currently has close to 100 members, with a wine-producing area of about 250 hectares, producing more than one million bottles of Jura wines annually. The wines are typical, classic and pure but, most importantly, they offer superb value!
