'Delaire Graff combine fruit from the estate in Stellenbosch with 30% from Faure to produce this Cabernet Sauvignon-based blend with 41% Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Merlot and Malbec. Herbal and scented, with considerable finesse and focus for a 2018, it has red berry and blackcurrant leaf flavours, racy acidity, aromatic 50% new wood and fine-grained tannins. Bravo! Drink 2022-28.' – Tim Atkin MW, SA Special Report 2020, 94/100

'59% cab drives 5-way Bordeaux blend, 45% new oak in support. 2018 herbal & savoury ex 20% cab franc portion, structure & generous fruit depth to go a good few years, allow 14.8% alcohol to settle. Stellenbosch WO. Also in magnum.' – Platter's Guide, 4.5* (92/100)

'Rich aromas of cassis and spice with intense liquorice and blackberry flavours on the palate and fine, lingering tannins. Optimal ageing potential of 5 – 8 years.' – Winemaker

Producer information The Delaire Graff Estate, surrounded by the breathtaking views of the Stellenbosch Valley, offers wine, art, dining and hospitality. Founded in the early 1980s, the estate has changed dramatically over the years. Delaire Graff's award-winning wines rank amongst the most prestigious in the Southern Hemisphere. Their unique terroir, which is a combination of maritime and mountain, is something their ambitious winemaker explores harvest after harvest. The cool Atlantic sea breeze which washes over their vineyards is what gives their fruit a rich intensity.
