Delheim, Gewürztraminer 2018 Bottle size: 750ml
South Africa, Stellenbosch'It's a small field, but this has to be in with a shout for the title of the Cape's best Gewürztraminer. Just off-dry at 11.3 grams of sugar, it's floral, ginger spicy and refreshing with good focus and acidity and rose petal undertones. Drink 2019-22.' – Tim Atkin MW, SA Special Report 2019, 91/100
'Vibrant aromas of litchi, white Turkish delight, white juice pear and rose petals come to mind. The palate is supported by fruit flavours ranging from litchi and orange skins, with a touch of sweet honey comb underpinned by a zesty acidity that lingers in the mouth well after the first sip.' – Winemaker
