Tasting notes:
'To highlight this groups excellent work, I recently revisited South Africa’s ‘Vintage of the Century’ and tasted through 28 excellent Cabernet Sauvignon 2015 reds from the Stellenbosch Cabernet Collective members. Reductive cassis notes, saline black currant and oyster shell, graphite, cedar spice and a complex, concentrated finish.' – Greg Sherwood MW, 94/100

'Neatly sculpted with French oak & fine tannin, 2015’s layers of fruit are dark & delicious, laced with leather & earth. Still tight - deserves more time to develop. Decant if broaching now. Includes splash petit verdot, as next.' – Platter's Guide, 4.5* (92/100)

'Fleshy and inviting, showing layers of cassis, raspberry and blackberry paste inlaid with anise, singed apple wood and mint notes. Nice charcoal frame on the finish. Best from 2018 through 2023.' – James Molesworth, Wine Spectator, 92/100

'Like a number of 2015 Stellenbosch Cabernets, this is going to take some time in bottle to show at its best. It’s still quite firm and dense right now, with a carapace of (20% new) oak but the graphite and cassis notes are there beneath the surface. One for the cellar. Drink 2019-25.' – Tim Atkin MW, SA Special Report 2017, 90/100
