This classic Cabernet Sauvignon is crafted from various blocks of vines on the estate, giving it complexity and balance. Youthful, leafy and very pure, with blackcurrant pastille fruit, tangy acidity and the fine tannins that are the hallmark of the glass collection wines.

100% Cabernet Sauvignon

Tasting notes:
'May-Eliane de Lencquesaing, formerly of Pauillac Château Pichon Comtesse, acquired this property in 2003, convinced it could produce high-quality wines – her focus largely on Bordeaux varieties. Glass Collection is the second label and over-delivers big-time for the price. A very pretty nose of florals, dried herbs and red and black berries. The palate is elegant and understated with pure fruit and fine tannins. Drinking Window 2020 - 2027.' – Decanter, 93/100

About Glenelly:
Glenelly was established in 2003 with a clear vision to produce long-ageing fine wine. It was started by May de Lencquesaing, previous owner of Château Pichon Longueville Comtesse de Lalande in Bordeaux. Much work has gone into the vineyards, cellar and winemaking but, more notably, their old-world patience has contributed to the wines. The winery is environmentally friendly and the vineyards are managed with minimal intervention and sustainable techniques.
