Tasting notes:,br> 'The 2014 Morey St Denis Villages has a rather conservative and straight-laced bouquet: brisk blackberry and wild hedgerow scents, a little strict at the moment. The palate is more approachable and charming with lightly spiced red fruit, and a dash of spice here with a neat, conservative but nicely focused finish and a saline aftertaste. Drink 2017 - 2025.' – Neal Martin, Wine Advocate 88-90/100

About Maison Joseph Drouhin:
In 1880, a 22-year-old Joseph Drouhin settled in Beaune and founded his own wine company. His son Maurice succeeded him and established a domaine for the Drouhin house by buying land in outstanding appellations including the famous Clos des Mouches and Clos de Vougeot. Today, 4th generation Véronique Drouhin continues the family’s prestigious Burgundy legacy. With 73 hectares of biodynamically-farmed vines, Joseph Drouhin is one of Burgundy’s largest estates. With vineyards in close to 90 different appellations, Drouhin offers a fascinating array of Burgundy terroirs.
