‘Château Pesquié is one of the great estates of the Ventoux,’ writes Joe Czerwinski for the Wine Advocate. Their latest vintages show, yet again, why Pesquié is one of Wine Cellar’s favourite producers in the Southern Rhône. The Chaduière family effortlessly showcases the cooler conditions in Ventoux's appellations by producing wines of tremendous purity, freshness and elegance.
Le Paradou Grenache 2018 remains knock-out value at only R160. A delicious and unpretentious ‘Vin de France’ made from 75-year-old Grenache vines, it is one of those wines we always have in our weekend wine orders. Served slightly chilled, it would be hard to find a more perfect summer red.
Le Paradou Côtes de Provence Rosé 2019 is a blend of Cinsault, Grenache and Vermentino from a vineyard in the heart of Provence. It is fragrant and fruity with a beautiful zestiness and citrus blossom. It’s ideal for the upcoming sunny days and, dare we say it, poolside sipping!
