Producer information In 1896, Marcel Ott bought several estates in Provence with the goal of reconstructing the vineyards (after the destruction from phylloxera) and creating quality wines from the noble grape varieties. Today, Marcel's descendants, cousins Christian and Jean-François Ott, run the three estates – Château de Selle, Clos Mireille and Château Romassan. The 74-hectare Château Romassan estate, located in Bandol, grows primarily Mourvèdre grapes with Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah also grown in smaller quantities.
