About Château Guiraud:
Château Guiraud, located in Sauternes, is one of the region’s most famous estates. Classified as First Grand Cru Classé in 1855, they were the first estate within this classification to be awarded organic certification. Their philosophy puts a lot of emphasis on preserving the local biodiversity and promoting environmentally-friendly practices. They have 85 hectares of vines planted with Sémillon and Sauvignon Blanc as well as their own conservatory of grape varieties – the only one of its kind in the world. Petit Guiraud is the second wine of Château Guiraud which is a blend of wines from several batches, selected for their style.
