'Our Sauvignon Blanc vines are planted on the highest vineyards on the Estate, on the slopes of the Helderberg Mountain range, facing False Bay. The early morning breezes cool the vines, which contributes to the superb natural acidity in the grapes. Decomposed granite soils contribute to the minerality on the palate.' – Winemaker

| Producer information | Uva Mira, which means ‘The Wonderful Grape’, is located 620 metres above sea level on the slopes of the Helderberg Mountain Range. The 127-hectare property experiences a cool climate with sea breezes which provides ideal conditions for the styles of wine that Uva Mira produces. In order to express the unique traits of their site, Uva Mira handcrafts their wines using only grapes from their vineyard sites on the property. They describe their style as having elegance, minerality & longevity. |
