'Uva Mira's top Chardonnay comes from the section of The Single Tree vineyard that faces False Bay and always seems to have an extra dimension to it. Subtle, mealy, focused and very complex, it's a class act. The only thing wrong with this wine, in fact, is the small quantity of just 1,000 bottles. Drink 2020-29.' – Tim Atkin MW, SA Special Report 2019, 96/100

'Clean, fresh-sliced pear & lime flavours on 2017, from 0.2 ha, ocean-facing section of Single Tree vineyard. Similar 50% new oak, integrated into bright, more linear fruit profile than sibling. Still youthful & ageworthy, has more charm than 2016 (93 pts).' – Platter's Guide, 4.5* (94/100)

'The superbly elegant nose shows nuances of earthiness with some nut butter and fresh cream. The concentrated yet well balanced palate unravels in the glass to feature zesty citrus flavours of juicy lime and shavings of orange rind seamlessly integrated with chalky minerality. Polished, mineral and complex, this wine shows both precision and energy and finishes with a dry, refreshing lift – the finest expression of the varietal.' – Winemaker
