Vintage Investment Portfolio 2017

Wine Investment

VIP 2017

Overview

South African wine quality is at an all-time high and the 2017 vintage will, along with 2015, produce SA’s greatest wines. Wine Cellar's VIP 2017 is the easiest and most cost-effective way of investing in South African wine. With the benefit of 2019 trading data, we have compiled the most investable wines in SA and unitised them into 60 identical R100,000 portfolios. Five years of professional cellaring is included in the purchase price with no further costs. This constitutes R17,576 cellaring costs per portfolio (at today’s value), an effective 17.5% discount on the purchase price.

Wine prices within the VIP 2015 have shown annualised growth of 24.9% since release and a similar portfolio of 2009s would have realised annualised growth of 18.1%.

The VIP 2017 is fully-subscribed. Please email Johan to sign-up to our investment newsletter.
