Finally, we're (re)shining the spotlight on the 2019 Boekenhoutskloof Syrah. Made using fruit from the iconic Porseleinberg vineyard, this benchmark Syrah was recently given an incredible 97 points from Tim Atkin MW and shouldn't be missed.

Boekenhoutskloof, Syrah 2019

In case you missed it, the 2019 Syrah from Boekenhoutskloof scored a whopping 97 points from Tim Atkin MW. From the legendary Porseleinberg vineyard, winemaker Gottfried Mocke (Tim Atkin's 2020 SA Winemaker of the Year) has produced this 'almost indecently perfumed and alluring' Swartland Syrah. Tim says how it's 'the wine that launched the modern Syrah revolution in South Africa', while Neal Martin writes, 'this is a delicious Syrah that should drink well for 15–20 years.'
